Asset Finance Corporation is a subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Corporation (Pty) Ltd. Established in 2017, the team of experts has over 60-years of combined experience in the asset-based finance sector.

The company was formed to create tailor-made finance packages especially for the construction and mining industries, as well as for bespoke asset classes including agricultural equipment, power generation, trucking, trailers, and related assets.

The Team is made up of top experts in the industry: Mkhize Buso, Jaco Pietersen, Louis Lizemore and Christopher Wilson.

This, together with the fact that the company has established solid relationships with banks and financial institutions, means that you, the client, have access to the most competitive rates and world-class service. It also allows Asset Finance Corporation to offer a complete end-to-end capital asset financing solution to meet all of our client’s needs.

We aim to keep the individual clients’ best interests at heart. We provide one point of contact for each specific client to alleviate confusion, as well as tailor-made packages based on the client’s unique needs. After a thorough consultation, and deep-dive into the client’s needs, we can help steer the client in the right direction when it comes to capital asset sourcing, with no preference for a specific supplier or equipment brand.

Mkhize Buso

Director

Mkhize Buso holds a BComm Degree in Accounting from The University of Port Elizabeth (now called Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University). He worked as a business analyst at Absa Bank from 2002 to 2005 before joining WesBank Corporate. Mkhize worked his way through the ranks at WesBank and spent most of his time on the Barloworld Equipment Relationship via Caterpillar Financial Services SA, where he was the national sales manager. He joined Asset Finance Corporation as a partner in 2017. Mkhize is very passionate about his clients and suppliers. He has a strong ability to analyse individual client needs, to assist them to grow their businesses and to provide ongoing assessment and support. Mkhize is a dedicated professional with extensive industry knowledge. He makes effective use of this and his related expertise to guide and advise clients with enthusiasm.


Jaco Pietersen

Director

Jaco Pietersen holds a BComm in Financial Management from The University of Stellenbosch and has worked in the aviation finance industry since 2004. Having started his career at Aviation Finance Solutions in 2004, he joined Aircraft Finance Corporation (AFC) as part of its founding team. He is also one of the founding members of Asset Finance Corporation, which forms part of the larger AFC Group of Companies. His aptitude for financial modelling and analysis, due diligence, portfolio management, business strategy and risk management have played a significant role in AFC’s growth and success. Dedicated and passionate about the aviation finance industry and asset finance in general, Jaco believes Asset Finance Corporation’s continued growth is based on its unwavering customer focus. His favourite part of the job is interacting with clients, understanding their specific needs and developing solutions that address these.

Louis Lizemore

Head of Operations and Credit

Louis Lizemore holds a BComm in Financial Management from The University of Pretoria. Louis is a dynamic analyst with experience since 2013 in the finance industry. He previously worked for a Transport and Freight financial institution between 2013 – 2018, before joining the Asset Finance Corporation Team as a Credit Analyst. He was promoted to Head of Operations and Credit in June 2022. He can accurately adhere to financial and operational analysis and has excellent organisational skills with a strong work ethic in terms of performance and time pressures. Louis works extremely well with customers and is dedicated to ensuring that finance applications are attended to expediently.

Christopher Wilson

Business Development Officer

Chris is known for his personalised service and client/supplier-centric approach. He fosters long-term relationships by understanding each client's unique financial goals. He manages a large portfolio of clients and suppliers on a daily basis.

With a decade of experience in various finance companies in South Africa, Chris is passionate about sales and finance, and he specialises in sectors such as printing, manufacturing, logistics, construction, and civil engineering.



Nozika Ramonete

Credit Manager

Nozika is a seasoned professional with a BCom in Financial Management from the University of Pretoria (2007 to 2009) and a BCom (Hons) in Business Management with a specialisation in Financial Management obtained from UNISA in 2015. Her career commenced at Route Quest, the finance division of the SA Truck Bodies group of companies, where she honed her skills from 2010 to July 2016. Following this, she joined WesBank, initially contributing to the construction team serving Barloworld and Bell from August 2016 to 2022. Subsequently, she transitioned to the Transport and Logistics team until April 2024, showcasing her versatility and expertise in financial management across diverse sectors.
